My First Traveler’s Notebook
This was such a FUN project! I used the Hello Adventure July TN Kit from Studio Calico. It includes everything but the photographs!
Mark and I have 7 children together. His oldest 2 are married, so that puts us at a family of 9. It’s a challenge coordinating schedules with this many humans, but we do our best! We took the kids to Lake Powell this summer. We had 7 children show up and with Mark and I, that’s a total of 9. The perfect weekend to remember and create my very first traveler’s notebook. Rhonna Designs App
Since the beginning of time, or since 2012, I’ve been using the Rhonna Designs App to add digital design elements and text over my photos. Rhonna’s app makes it easy to resize images for print and includes high-resolution exporting options. I can create 4×8″ prints like this right on my phone.
The Prints
The new Persnickety Box Mobile App is the easiest way to get 4×4″ prints off my phone (swipe like Tinder). I uploaded all of the weekend photos to my Persnickety Prints account (no app needed!) for the other print sizes.

Once the photos from my phone are in my online Persnickety account, I jump on my laptop to quickly create the 4×8 photo strips that fit these amazing Studio Calico film strip overlays. It is possible to design photo strips on the phone, but I am much more efficient on my laptop.
If you’re just getting started doing something with your photos or are an avid documenter looking to try something new, I would highly recommend a traveler’s notebook kit from Studio Calico.
