DIY Magnetic Photo Puzzle

This unique photo project is just what you need to add a personalized touch to your home while simultaneously providing a fun activity for the whole family. It’s affordable, easy to make and the kids love it!

This custom magnetic puzzle would also make a great craft activity for a class party, church class or birthday party activity.

Follow this step-by-step guide and create your own magnetic photo puzzle.

3 Simple Supplies

1. Scissors
2. A magnetic adhesive sheet (this one from Amazon comes in a pack of 10 sheets – 8×10 size, Prime for $11.75) 
3. Lastly, your amazing photos printed at Persnickety Prints. We recommend the matte photo finish, as gloss tends to retain fingerprints.

We used one Persnickety Prints 8×10 matte photographic print ($2.69), but you are welcome to use whatever size print you’d like. Let’s get to it!

DIY Magnetic Photo Puzzle Instructions

Step 1- Remove the protective sheet on the back of the magnet to uncover the adhesive.

Step 2– Line up the print with the top of the magnet, making sure the adhesive side is face up.

Step 3- Starting at the top, slide the photo down the adhesive to adhere.

Step 4- Trim down any excess magnet. 

Step 5- Cut the photo magnet into puzzle pieces.

Step 6- Put it on the fridge or a magnet board and let the fun begin!
