How I Tell my Story with Persnickety Photostrips
When I first checked out the Persnickety Prints website, I couldn’t believe the variety of print sizes! But the product that really caught my attention was the new photostrips. Luckily, I caught my son’s plethora of faces during an impromptu photo shoot in our backyard, and they were perfect for this photostrip print!
I decided to use my photostrip in a double page spread using my Citrus Twist Kits Life Crafted album. The albums have a variety of page protector configurations that are fun to mix and match, so I created a full page layout on the left with my photostrip. On the right, used a double 3×4 page to include another photo and my journaling.
The colors in my photos were so bright and true to color, which worked perfectly with the June “Around Here” kit. My son was wearing a blue shirt in the photos so I really wanted to bring out the blue with the teal plaid paper, and a complimentary color of yellow with those cute lemons!
For my second project, I ordered 3×4 Persnickety prints on matte photographic paper. I can’t tell you how gorgeous all of my photos looked! 3×4 is my preferred photo size when it comes to scrapbooking, not too big, not too small. And I love that Persnickety Prints offers this size, without me having to cut a 4×6 photo in half (which is what I normally have to do with my photos!).
I wanted to document the sweet relationship developing between my boys. I created a double page layout using different page protector configurations. On the left I used a double 3×4, and the right a 4×6 plus journaling spot.
I used the left page to hold my journaling and a photo of my boys. Then I used the 4×6 for a large journaling card for my title. In the journaling spot, I used a die cut piece to circle my date and added sequins to create a shaker pocket.
