Document Travel on a Budget
After 5 years of managing Persnickety Prints, I earned a week of travel! My family and I chose to hit an all- inclusive beach front Mexico Resort. How many photos do you take when you travel? I snapped over 1,000 and I want to remember it all!
I’m going to share 3 quick, easy and affordable ways to get photos off of your phone and enjoy that vacation again and again!
TRAVEL JOURNAL
Persnickety Prints 6×8 journals are small enough to take with you and journal on the go! I took along the Persnickety ready-made Travel Journal (available here). You can also create your own custom cover and choose from super thick lined, blank, or dotted inside pages. I chose dotted inside pages for this project because the dots are light enough that they aren’t obvious, but still give a guideline to make things straight.
Not much nightlife with a 2 year old! We’d put Nash to sleep in the hotel each night and I’d pull out my journal to write about the day (leaving space for the prints I would add later). I then edited my favorite photos and added them to the “print at Persnickety” folder I created on my iPhone. The last day of the trip, I uploaded the photos to www.persnicketyprints.com on my iPhone browser (you don’t need to download an app) and ordered 3×4, 4×4, and used the 4×8 collage for 2×2’s. Easy and less than $26 to complete.

2. PHOTO BOOKS
Persnickety offers 3 different softcover photo books: 5×5, 6×8, 8×6, and 8×8. I added photos and text right in the online photo book software each night! (with your Persnickety Online account you can access your book from any device). The Persnickety software makes it easy to save the book and and come back later to add more. All you need is wi-fi. Traveling with a group? Print a copy for everyone! It’s the best souvenir you could bring home.

3. INDIVIDUAL MEMORY PAGES
If your memory keeping “system” is adding individual prints to an album, this solution is for you! Choose from hundreds of collage print sizes and templates that are completely customizable. 12×12 Memory pages will fit perfectly in our family album for Nash to enjoy forever.
