Baby’s First Year

The first year of my first child felt like a whirlwind, and it flew by just as quickly! Nash is now 2 years old and has a new little brother on the way!

A baby’s first might seem insignificant at the time, but even just one year later, Nash loves looking back at when he conquered his first step.

I found the most darling baby’s first year memory albums online from LucyDarling.com. The storytelling prompts make it easy to know what to document and when.

Persnickety Prints REAL photographs are the kind that will last. Sure, you could print photos at home but most at-home printers are not using sub dye inks. Because Persnickety uses dark room photographic processing (no ink!) Nash will be able to enjoy his baby book when he’s 18, 40 and 80 years old.

I love that this album is simple with square photo placeholders. It fits hand in hand with the Persnickety Story Box monthly 4×4 photo subscription (coming soon) and Persnickety 3×3 or 4×4 prints. Most of the photo placeholders in this album are formatted to a 3×3 print size. I ordered all 4×4 photographic and cut down the prints when needed. (it’s complicated, but dark room prints can’t be smaller than 3.5″ or they get lost in the developer) 3×3 Press Prints are thick stock, and they work great, but I love the real photograph.
