Get Started with a Vision Board

We are visual creatures, seeing imagery of specific goals every day will help us to accomplish them. Keep reading to learn how to get started with a vision board for the new year, and let it start to change your life! Join us this year in creating one for 2023!

Take Time to Think

The purpose of your vision board is to bring goals and desires to life. Think about what you want out of your life. For example; your personal and business relationships, career, finances, home, travel, personal growth, spirituality, social, education, health, etc. This may take a few days or even a few weeks, but take time to really think about what you want.

Make a list

Be specific and write down your wants and desires. I used the “notes” app on my iPhone to create my list. It took me about 2 weeks, adding a few ideas each day of what I want to focus on and improve in the next year.

Organize Images

Collect digital inspiring images. Quotes, colors, photos or even screen shots will work for this project! Get started with a vision board by organizing your images!

• I used the Rhonna Designs App to create text overlays and quotes for my vision board.
• Free digital images can be downloaded at Unsplash.com.
• Free quotes and affirmations are included in our online software!
• Create a folder or favorites on your camera roll and/or a folder on your desktop. Below is an example from my 2019 vision board. Square images are best.

Once you have gathered 35-60 digital images you’re ready to put your digital vision board together!

Ordering a Vision board

1. Sign up or sign in to your Persnickety Prints online account!
2. Upload all the photos from your “Vision Board” album that you created.
3. Then, head to Creative Prints > Collages > then filter to the size you want! (I prefer the 18x24s for this project!) Or, click here to be taken right to our many collage options.
4. Drag and drop your photos into the template and add to cart!
